Transmural Biotech will take part in a consortium created to develop the project CV Remod: Convergencia de Tecnologías Médicas para la Gestión Integral del Remodelado Cardiovascular. (Convergency of Medical Tecnologies  for the integral Management of Cardiovascular Remodeling).

At the end of 2009, the CVRemod Project was one of the public-private cooperations projects approved in fifh call of the Programa de Consorcios Estratégicos Nacionales de Investigación Técnica (CENIT-E) of the Ministerio español de Ciencia e Innovación.

This Project has a total cost of 25 millions euros, 12 millions of which are public financed by CDTI.

CVRemod has as a goal the use of new Imaging and modelling technologies to help the understanding and quantification of cardiovascular remodelling mechanisms. This goal will imply:

1.    Improvement of Diagnostic systems.
2.    Increase of Patho-physiological knowledge of these mechanisms.
3.    Optimization of planning and taking therapeutic customized decisions process.
4.    Improving monitoring and prevention of future illnesses.
